How is the game played?
Players take turn either scoring monsters or playing the actions on cards from their hands. The goal is to score at least 2 of each of the 6 monsters in the game. You can take any of three available actions, to a maximum of twice per turn, using the four cards you have each turn.
The simplest objective is to score monsters. However, some monster actions can be very powerful tools and should be considered over simply scoring the card. Once a card is scored, you can no longer access its action so you must choose what actions are most useful any given turn.
The winner is the first player to make at least a pair of each of the six monsters!

Example turn
You generally have 4 cards in your hand to start each turn unless your opponent caused you to discard cards at some point before your turn began.
During your turn you can do one of three things and each can be done a maximum of twice per turn.
1. Discard a card from your hand to either gain 1 power or use the monsters discard action if it has one.
2. Score a monster. You need two of each monster to win. If you score a third of any monster, you gain a bonus power and no other player can score a third of that monster unless they force you to discard under three of that monster.
3. Play a monster action on a card in your hand. If you have the power needed for the action (indicated on the card), you can pay the power cost to perform the action listed, then discard the monster.
You must take at least two action each turn and may perform the above in any order, up to a maximum of twice per action. Once done, your turn ends and you draw back up to four cards in your hand.
